Flow + Release + Repair + Revive

Qigong is an ancient series of self-healing movement patterns developed through the study of nature and practiced for over three thousand years. Qi is the Chinese word for “life energy”. Qi is the animating power that flows through all living things.  Gong means “work”.  Qigong means working with the life energy by learning how to control the flow and distribution of Qi to improve health and harmony of mind and body.
Qigong is a form of moving meditation that integrates mindful breathing to neutralize stress and alleviate gripping and holding patterns that can limit our range of movement, irritate our joints and lead to disease.  Working with the Qi helps us to repair and recover so that we feel grounded and guided throughout our daily lives.  Qigong helps the fluids of the body to flow. This helps to nourish our vital organs aiding in recovery from structural and emotional stress.  Martial artists discovered centuries ago that the better their recovery, the harder they could train.

Qigong is great for people of all ages and abilities including elite athletes.

After an extensive apprenticeship with my first Shifu Peng, I am certified to share and teaching the lineage practice of Dan Ming Qigong which has been passed down for generations. One never “masters” Qigong, you always go deeper beyond the form and movements into the essence of pure energy. The Tao. The Universal Qi Field. Limitlessness.

I am on a hiatus from teaching at the moment so that I can focus on broadening my studies so that I can deepen my own practices to be a better practitioner and teacher in the future. For those who kind souls who shared the practice with me in 2023 at Spoke the Hub…thanks for a glorious ride! I’ll see you all on the other side.
